About this Book of Poems
More Poetry and Reflection is Roger Neumaier’s second volume of poetry written after his retirement in 2014. Neumaier's intention was to write one poem a month into a poetry journal. The poems in this book were written between March of 2021 and January of 2026. They are presented in the order they were written.
The poems in this book track Neumaier's recognition and acceptance of changes in, and challenges to, his life as well as his growing understanding of the world around him. The book straddles the line between personal philosophy and poetry.
